IFW | Jobs in production industry become more and more sophisticated, while it is difficult to find qualified staff. For this reason, enterprises have to promote their employees systematically – making sure that experienced staff members impart their knowledge to their colleagues. IFW wants to help them meeting this challenge.
Employee knowledge is the virtual capital of enterprises. To remain competitive, knowledge management and retention is of vital importance. Furthermore, digitalization requires comprehensive human resources development. Employees´ competencies need to be recorded, evaluated and developed appropriately. In companies, there is often a lack of resources and expertise for solving the described issues. Two collaborative projects want to address these issues: the industry forum “Competences in Manufacturing Technology” and the research project “SAPA”. Companies benefit from experience exchange among themselves and from research work done in the scientific environment. New members are welcome at any time.
