LZH | As a platform for innovative, laser-based lightweight construction concepts, the 2nd Symposium Photonischer Leichtbau will be taking place in the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) and in the Produktionstechnisches Zentrum Hannover (PZH) in Garbsen on 24 and 25 March 2020.

Modern mobility should use less energy and reduce emissions. This requires lighter vehicles. On 24 and 25 March 2020, the speakers at the Symposium Photonischer Leichtbau in Hannover and Garbsen will show how aircrafts, automobiles, rail vehicles and ships can be manufactured in a resource-efficient way using laser-based processes. The laser-based lightweight construction concepts and Additive Manufacturing processes offer a wide range of solutions for manufacturers and suppliers in order to produce vehicles with less weight.

At the get-together on 24 March, the participants will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations in a relaxed atmosphere in the LZH labs and to make new contacts. During the program breaks on 25 March at the PZH, the symposium also provides many opportunities for networking and technical discussions.

The registration at www.lzh.de/de/spl20 is open until 10 March 2020. The registration fee is 385 euros.

The Symposium will be held in German.
