Production technology at the ’’Night Out With Science’’
PZH/LZH/IPH | On Saturday, 12 November 2016, the Leibniz Universität Hannover will be organizing a "Night Out With Science" – and entertainment. Starting at 6 p.m., the institutes and laboratories will open their doors. The production technology will be presenting itself in the Welfenschloss and in the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH).
At the PZH in Garbsen, the whole Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Leibniz Universität Hannover welcomes visitors on 12 November until midnight. The institutes jointly showcase about 40 stations and exhibits, some of them are located directly at the machines in the test halls.
At the same time, the Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) and the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) will be presenting themselves in the atrium of the Welfenschloss. The IPH gives an impression of the world from the perspective of a forklift, and the LZH shows amazing hands-on laser technology.
Visiting both locations is easy without the car: the tram line no. 4 only takes approximately 20 minutes from the station "Leibniz Universität" to "Friedhof Auf der Horst". From there, a free-of-charge shuttle service takes visitors to the PZH and back.
A couple of weeks before the event all exhibits and stations can be found at www.dienachtdiewissenschafft.de.
