PZH ǀ On 11 October 2019 starting at 6 p.m., the Campus Maschinenbau in Garbsen will open the doors and invite visitors to explore the new site and spend a night full of technology, games and entertainment with "Friends & Family".
At the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH) of Leibniz Universität, the visitors can experience approved exhibits, puzzles and join-in activities starting at 6 p.m. in the spine and the neighbouring halls of the PZH institutes.
For the first time, the activities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be enhanced by a programme taking place on the new campus area that is located on the opposite side of the road: The cafeteria will offer test menus accompanied by the Big Band Berenbostel. A book flea market and face painting will take place in the House of Students till 9 p.m. Later on, rock and metal live music will fill the air.
After less than four years of construction, the Minister President of Lower Saxony Stephan Weil has inaugurated the Campus Maschinenbau of Leibniz Universität Hannover in Garbsen. With this, the largest university construction project of the Land Lower Saxony is now completed. The overall construction costs of the new campus amount to 175 million euros.
