GREAN | Companies dealing with the implementation of Industry 4.0 will be given the opportunity to experience a “Smart Factory“ on 6 October 2016 at HARTING Technology Group, Espelkamp. A moderated talk on the topic will complete the event.

At 9 am, the event will start with a short introduction on how HARTING is dealing with the implementation of Industry 4.0. Afterwards, participants of the factory – the winner of the “Factory of the Year” award – will get an insight into Industry 4.0-compliant production reality. Following the round tour, there will be a moderated knowledge exchange forum.

The event will be organized by GREAN GmbH, a spin-off of the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) at the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH). It’s a win-win situation: While participants can benefit from the know-how of their hosts, HARTING will be regiven the feedback of the participants.

“At this event, we would like to discuss the chances of Industry 4.0-compliant digital factories – and their limitations“, explains Tobias Heinen, Managing Director of GREAN. GREAN has already been providing production companies with factory design consultancy services for many years.
