Hannover Messe 2016: Materials & Lightweight Construction Forum

IW | The focus of the Materials & Lightweight Construction Forum, taking place at Hannover Messe from 25 to 29 April 2016, will be on lightweight materials, structures and manufacturing. Presentations and talks on newly developed materials and practical solutions will show how to save cost and weight already in the early design stage.

With the Materials & Lightweight Construction Forum, the Institute of Materials Science (IW) and the Deutsche Messe AG are offering top-class experts from science and industry a platform for sophisticated lectures and discussions. Each day of the fair will be devoted to specific key topics:

Monday, 25.04.2016: Light metal alloys and lightweight structures
Tuesday, 26.04.2016: Ceramics / High-performance steels / Discussion forum
Wednesday, 27.04.2016: Fibre-reinforced composites and polymer materials
Thursday, 28.04.2016: Multi-material design / Adhesive bonding systems
Friday, 29.04.2016: Materials of the future / Designers of the future
