IMPT | Schoolgirls between the ages 13 and 18 can discover their abilities on Thursday, 10 November 2016, at the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH). For the eighth time, girls are invited to take part in an experience day called "MuT – Mädchen und Technik" (meaning "Tech Needs Girls").
Again, this year’s program features about a dozen workshops: from programming to soldering to plasma cutting and micro technology. Further activities include exploring a modern lab, building a macro lens for mobile cameras and learning how to create a computer game.
For more detailed information (in German language) about program and workshops please visit the website of MuT www.maedchen-und-technik.de, and get registered now to secure your place!
MuT is organized by a small team of the Institute of Micro Production Technology (IMPT) at the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH) that hosts this day for around 100 local schoolgirls already for the eighth time. Aim of the project day is to inspire girls in technology and provide an insight into the world of STEM jobs – that is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
